They are the ones carrying something a household needs: a REAL ID appointment, a bookbag, a crossing-guard job, a police chief reading to toddlers. The service is the message.

Attach a service to the sentiment. The forwarded posts all carry something usable. Bring the agency to the residents — Pennsauken hosts the MVC mobile unit and names the appointment requirement up front. Put the constraint in the post: Millville publishes the split shift and ‘no experience required’; Newark publishes 200 bookbags and a two-hour window. And Totowa is the reminder that a single warm image, posted without an ask, still does civic work.
